The Coach House - The Coach House Cottage

No host engagement on request. Disappointing. Positive: Access to amenities and wider delights. Central for the town and all its attractions with surrounding countryside walks and views. Perfect. Negative: Felt confined although footprint was spacious, perhaps the dark decor and furniture. The bedroom a five walked shape almost every wall had its wallpaper peeling (I see from earlier reviews this has remained the case for some time).

Positive: Location was great but instructions provided to get in property were poor and management company didn’t answer phone or respond to emails Negative: There was also no WiFi code provided so I had to phone the property owner to find this. The wall paper in the bedroom was coming off the walls and skirting in the hall so I would suggest some maintenance be carried out as it’s looking tired

Positive: It was clean Negative: It had a damp smell, the ceiling sounded as if it was going to collapse when the people in the apartment upstairs were walking around very noisy. The WiFi and connectivity were non existent. The key lock to get in is very hard to open.

Great for night stays Positive: Great location, but to find this apartment could be quite tricky. Very comfy and equipped with all appliances for living. Very clean and chilly even in hot days Negative: Bathroom requires inspection of drainage system because water flows to main corridor from the floor bottom

Great Location and the property has so much potential, just needs some tweaks and tlc Positive: The property was done to a high standard, and really comfortable! nice fixtures and fittings and well equipped, ideal central location. Would stay again if certain issues were ironed out- lots of potential and Kieran seems a lovely bloke. -Clean property -Great location -Great style -High spec fixtures and fittings -Plenty of bedding and clean towels -Well equipped kitchen with plenty of tea and coffee, pots and pans. Negative: -The entrance comes out immediately onto a busy road (on a hidden corner- quite dangerous for children) -The windows in this property don’t open and when we arrived the thermostat was faulty so we had to turn off the boiler during the hottest weekend of the year this was troublesome and we struggled sleeping. We couldn’t see a fire extinguisher anywhere either so this is a worry. - No fire extinguisher in property -There seems to be a damp issue in the property and majority of the wallpaper is peeling from the walls- it also smelt damp on arrival. -We had noisey neighbours in the property above and you could hear every movement late into the night children running around until well past midnight and early in the morning which made it hard for us to sleep. -The shower seems to leak into the entrance area when used making the floor slippy and the skirting board is lifting away in this problem area. -There was an ironing board with no iron? -Needs a bin in the bathroom -Bathroom lightbulb too dim you couldn’t really see a thing in the bathroom -Bedside light not working - No welcome pack so I had to contact the host a couple of times for WiFi etc. -Main entrance Door looks like it’s been broken into. - The outside communal terrace could do with improvement so people could make use of this.
