Ideal location for the centre of Leyburn. Positive: Fantastic property, bed very comfy, towels extremely fluffy.

Average property Positive: Well equipped property Negative: Decor needs updating Too noisy from guest walking around upstairs property

Shower issue Positive: Location and space, only public parking but that was fine Negative: We had a 2night stay, arrived approx 7.30pm after a day of driving only to find we couldn't shower as the handles had broken. Proceeded with request to owners only to be told that unable to get anyone this late. But will get someone to come first thing next day. Well no-one turned up so I phoned the number about 11am ish and Sarah the owner phoned to say sorry to hear this, I asked why would the cleaners not report this, she was surprised but proceeded to say that her husband Sean would try and get there after his current job in Leeds (1130am) So I left key as we went out. Back at 5pm and shower not fixed so again sent msg and Pranesh replied that Sean will be there within 30mins. Sean arrived had to replace 2 shower handles. Understand things can go wrong but to not turn up initially then having to keep following up was disappointing and time wasting. Not great service as having a working shower is one of the most important things when travelling. 1 night without was not pleasant.

Negative: property was NOT on LOVE LANE all 3 people staying at the cottages had difficulty finding their acomodation

No host engagement on request. Disappointing. Positive: Access to amenities and wider delights. Central for the town and all its attractions with surrounding countryside walks and views. Perfect. Negative: Felt confined although footprint was spacious, perhaps the dark decor and furniture. The bedroom a five walked shape almost every wall had its wallpaper peeling (I see from earlier reviews this has remained the case for some time).
