The Coach House - Love Lane Cottage

Positive: Location. Negative: ALL the wallpaper was hanging off in every room - needs some serious attention. When we arrived it was raining and someone had left the back door to the property open - the conservatory was full of rain!!!!

Positive: Comfy beds Negative: Wallpaper falling off walls. Quite draughty.

The place was lovely , just needs a bit of love in places. Positive: Beautiful property with everything you need.

AVOID Positive: Location - however no parking outside the property which is no good if you have a lot of luggage, property also looks out onto someone’s private property which isn’t ideal for either party. Negative: Unsafe, door wouldn’t lock, rang the owner, I was told I’m in the Yorkshire dales so I’m safe, no apology, no we’ll get someone out to fix it, just if I was unhappy I could check out, I was staying with my 2 young children, couldn’t leave as it was too late into the night for them when we checked in and too far from home, place was full of cobwebs and dust (can see some of the cobwebs on light fitting in picture provided), light fitting over bed in 2nd bedroom was loose and hanging off the ceiling, again unsafe, owner thanked me for letting them know, again no apology, or any solution to fix it, so me, my husband & 2 children had to all stay in one bed, didn’t sleep a wink due to this and the safety of the door being unlocked, place is full of damp every room wall paper is peeling off the walls, was told the decorator had used the wrong wall paste, however the smell of the damp said otherwise, overall I feel like it needs a lot of TLC before it should be rented out again. - first time ever leaving a negative review, disappointed.

Positive: It was very clean, and it was a short walk to the dales. Negative: The flat was very, very damp the smell hit you as soon as you entered. The wall paper was falling off the walls.
